Awesome ice-cream flavor

Happened to chance upon Haagen-Dazs' Limited Edition: Vanilla Honey Bee ice-cream.

As with most Haagen-Dazs products, this ice-cream is extremely creamy with a very smooth texture. What I really enjoyed about this flavor is that it combines two of my favorite flavors; vanilla and honey. While it is slightly too sweet, I find the taste of the honey lingers for quite a while after the creaminess and vanilla fades away. So, if you enjoy both these flavors, I would highly recommend you giving this product a try!

Note: It's a LE flavor, so they will stop producing (or selling) it at the end of December. I plan on stocking up so that I will get to savor this in 2009!

Thanksgiving is around the corner!

And Fatty McFatPants is weighing in at 14lbs. No, he's not getting cooked, but I'm so busy with work/classes that I have no time to post new pics/vids of him... yet. Don't worry, I plan on getting to that soon enough, but for now I have to deal with my papers and finals..... joy!

Packing with Voo

This is how it usually goes when I am packing for a trip....

1. Put item into suitcase
2. Remove Voo (who is trying to fur anything that's clean/defurred)
3. Put another item into suitcase
4. Remove Voo (again) while telling him to stop jumping in
Repeat as necessary

Voo discovers the trailing edge of the suit he's been constantly trying to fur.

Look at the fatty! He's really piling on the pounds!

1:30am and genius spots a spider...

As I am sure you gathered from the title, Voo spots a spider and decides that he wants at it. Fortunately for the spider, it's on the ceiling and Voo can't fly (yet). So Voo goes on his single-minded quest on doing all that's possible to reach it, and naturally bothers me in the process. So I turned on the lights and took a short vid, so all you "Voo fans" out there will know the mental anguish that comes from owning (or being owned by) a Bengal.

Voo's Bath and other pics

Gave Voo a bath the other day, and as usual, I was sure to include a floating toy to keep him entertained. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to enjoy baths as much as he used to.

He's A LOT bigger than before. Soon he'll be ready to be Thanksgiving dinner.... mmmmm!

And here are some miscellaneous pics that I took on my camera phone...

Love the markings, can't wait to turn him into something I can wear.... like maybe a scarf, or hat!

I'm HOME!

This is a lil late, but here is the vid of when I got back home from a 3.5 week vacation.

Thanks goes out to Denise and Chris for keeping an eye on Voo while I was gone. He seemed to have no problems with "strangers" coming into the house, so as I mentioned before, there goes the plan for an attack cat.

Yes the vid's kinda dark, but that can't be helped.

I miss Voo!!!

It's been a while since I last posted an update. Been busy with school, and then it was finals season, which is never a fun thing.

I spent a significant portion of my time ensuring that I got better grades than from the last semester. And naturally, Voo was there to add some variety in the routine.

Unfortunately, I had to go out of town for almost 3 weeks, and as a result, I haven't seen that monster since May 30. The options I considered were to either put him in the freezer and defrost him in the microwave when I got back (aka cryogenic suspension) or to hire a petsitting service.

After some consideration, I decided that Voo is probably too big to fit into my microwave and it would be best to hire someone to come in twice a week to look after him.

So.... it's been over 2 weeks without Voo and O-M-G do I miss him. I can't WAIT to haul myself to Vegas. Denise and Christian have been augmenting the petsitter's services by stopping by every so often to spend time with Voo. Thus far, the response has been very good and it seems like he welcomes just about anyone into the house with great eagerness (looks like my dream of having an attack cat will have to be shelved... for now :P ).

I plan to have the camera running when I get back. So if i don't forget to do that, I should have a vid to post in a few days!

Voo learning to escape

Voo is always attacking the plastic bags I have in the house, so I decided to bag him and leave him hanging on the door knob. As you can see, he learns to thwart my schemes rather quickly.

Voo gets bagged
